AirFiber™ Internet Acceptable Use Policy

AirFiber™ Internet is committed to providing a high-quality internet experience for all customers. This policy outlines the terms that all users must follow when using AirFiber™ services. Violating these terms may lead to suspension or cancellation of your account.

  • Personal Use Only: Unless subscribed to a commercial-grade service, AirFiber™ Internet is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. It should not be used for any enterprise activities or excessive bandwidth consumption that may impact other users.

  • Security and Network Integrity: The service must not be used to interfere with the operations of AirFiber™’s network, breach security protocols, or distribute harmful software. AirFiber™ may employ tools to safeguard its network and ensure secure operations.

  • Prohibited Activities: Users must not engage in unlawful activities, such as sharing offensive material, violating copyright laws, conducting fraud, or sending spam. Activities that disrupt network services, impersonate others, or attempt unauthorized access are strictly forbidden.

  • Equipment Responsibility: AirFiber™ provides customer premise equipment (CPE), which remains the property of AirFiber™. Customers are responsible for its safe use. Unauthorized access to CPE configuration is prohibited and may require re-provisioning at the customer’s expense.

  • No Resale or Redistribution: AirFiber™ services are for individual use only and may not be resold or shared beyond the customer’s premises, whether by wired or wireless technology.

Prohibited Activities with AirFiber™ Internet

AirFiber™ strictly prohibits activities that are illegal, fraudulent, infringe on the rights of others, or disrupt the use and enjoyment of the service. The following are some examples of activities that are not allowed:

  • Unlawful Content: Do not use the service to transmit, receive, store, or share any defamatory, obscene, unlawful, or threatening material. Content violating copyright laws or involving child exploitation is strictly forbidden.

  • Fraudulent and Deceptive Practices: The service may not be used for consumer fraud activities, such as illegal gambling, pyramid schemes, or misleading offers, nor may it be used to send unsolicited bulk emails or “spam.”

  • Network Disruption and Security Breach: Users must not engage in activities that disrupt AirFiber™’s network or that of others, including denial of service attacks, altering network operations, or compromising security systems. Unauthorized access to others’ networks, data, or systems, including phishing or impersonating others, is prohibited.

  • Prohibited Tools and Devices: Do not use tools commonly associated with security breaches, such as password crackers, keystroke loggers, or packet sniffers. Unauthorized modification or servicing of AirFiber™ equipment is also forbidden.

  • Resale or Redistribution: The service is for your personal use only and may not be resold or shared with others outside your premises, either through wired or wireless means.

Adherence to these guidelines helps ensure a secure and reliable internet experience for all AirFiber™ customers. Violation of these terms may result in the suspension or termination of your service.

Customer Premise Equipment (CPE)

AirFiber™ provides customer premise equipment (CPE), often referred to as a modem, for use with its services. A monthly rental fee applies as long as the account is active. The CPE remains the property of AirFiber™ and will be replaced at no cost if it becomes defective under normal usage. However, if the equipment is misused, lost, or stolen, the customer will be responsible for replacement costs, including any associated labor fees.

Access to CPE configuration settings is restricted to authorized AirFiber™ agents or employees. Unauthorized access may require re-provisioning by AirFiber™ at the customer’s expense.
